TRAKTOR KONTROL D2 delivers portable, touch-and-see deck control designed for cutting-edge performance with TRAKTOR PRO 2. A full-color display and touch-sensitive controls deliver responsive workflow for the uncompromising DJ. And full Stems integration provides the keys to a completely new way to DJ.
The Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol D2 DJ Performance Deck is a portable, touch and see performance deck that lets you take full advantage of the powerful TRAKTOR PRO 2. Touch sensitive controls, knobs, sliders and a full colour display deliver an intuitive and responsive workflow for the modern DJ.
The high resolution display brings your tracks to life. This touch display delivers visual feedback in the form of Smart Views and pop-up panels, allowing you to browse, monitor effects, improvise and more all at the touch of a button.
A Beatgrid view instantly shows your grids for direct editing from the D2. Edit FX chain parameters instantly in the FX Panel, which is accessed as soon as you hit an FX knob. Stem View allows you to simultaneously mix and view all four parts of a stem file as their waveforms. In Remix View you can trigger sounds from the performance pads and then mix them in to your mix with the faders. All sounds are colour coded, making them easier to select whilst on the fly.
The hardware has been seamlessly fused with the software to make for a very smooth experience.
Touch-sensitive knobs and faders activate TRACKTOR functions and views on the display, letting you stay in the moment and connected to your audience. An LED guided touch strip allows for physical manipulation of pitch, track seeking and take advantage of the D2's vinyl scratch emulation.
The rear panel of the D2 is where all connections can be found. Two USB ports allow you to chain any TRACKTOR controller from just one of your computer's USB ports. The D2 makes use of a very unique power supply splitter cable, which can power two units simultaneously, making it ideal when on the road.
All this is housed in a durable metal enclosure that's topped with a premium feeling brushed metal panel. Quality has really been on the front of Native Instruments mind, especially with everything you touch. All knobs, faders and pads feel high end and make the whole experience feel very refined.
