The Denon DN-SC2900 Digital Controller and Media Player is a DJ controller and multi-format player that allows you to playback audio from CDs, USB memory devices, or your Mac or PC using its included ENGINE software. Its CD deck supports CDs, CD-DAs, and CD-ROMs and the DN-SC2900 can play AAC, AIFF, MP3, and WAV files stored on external USB flash drives or hard disc drives.
The included ENGINE software allows for playback and management of up to 100,000 files on your computer or USB drive without taxing its processor by leaving the audio processing to the DN-SC2900 unit. You can share the tracks from your computer or USB device with up to four networked DN-SC2900s or 3900s by connecting the units with an optional Ethernet network router. There is also an available ENGINE iPad app, giving you touch screen control of your tracks and playlists via a networked iPad.
The DN-SC2900 gives you hands on control with its touch sensitive 7" Eclipse platter, allowing you to reverse, loop, and scratch your tracks. The Eclipse platter also accurately displays cue and playback points with its LED markers.
